Eyelash Tint

What is an eyelash tint?
An eyelash tint involves tinting the eyelashes with a semi permanent vegetable dye to make the lashes appear darker and thicker. It does this by tinting all the hairs including the blonde ones, giving a darker fuller effect. The process involves a quick and non-surgical procedure using vegetable dye as tint. Compared to putting on mascara, the effects of eyelash tinting is very natural. To ensure there are no ill effects a patch test is required 24 hours before treatment.

What is an eyelash tint good for?
An eyelash tint will darken the eyelashes so therefore is good for swimmers as it will not run in the water, ideal for holiday as you don’t have to keep applying mascara and also good for people who don’t like applying mascara all the time. It is also good for people with fine, blonde or red hair.

What happens during the treatment?
Cotton pads are placed under your closed eyes along with a barrier cream and then a small amount of vegetable dye is applied onto your eyelashes. After ten minutes, the dye is removed with water. The results could last around four to six weeks. A typical eyelash tinting takes around fifteen minutes.
The treatment should be painless, unless the dye gets into your eyes and causes a slight stinging.

Eyebrow Tint
The eyebrows can also be tinted giving a more defined shape to the brows. This can be useful on a client with blonde or fair hair. Patch test required before treatment

What is Eyelash perming?
This is a semi-permanent method of curling your eyelashes. Curled eyelashes will enhance the appearance of the eyes and will normally last between 4-5 weeks. This is a method of enhancing your eyelashes and your face giving an open eyed look

What is an eyelash perm good for?
An eyelash perm can open the eyes up by curling the lashes back instead of hanging straight. This treatment can last for up to 3 months depending on what stage of growth the lashes are permed at.

What happens during the treatment?
Using a small roller and water soluble glue, the lashes are rolled and separated to help ensure a beautiful natural appearance. Perming lotion is then applied to the lashes and left for 15 minutes followed by the application of a neutraliser. This is then left for a further 15 minutes under cover. Finally, damp cotton wool is used to gently remove the roller, leaving you with enhanced curled eyelashes. For improved effect, tint may be applied directly afterwards.

Important: You will need a patch test at least 48 hours prior to the treatment to ensure no allergy exists. If you have had any known eye disorders in the past, please discuss this with the me at the time of booking. Patch test required before treatment
